The Windows 10 Creators Update allows you to prevent apps from being installed or run, depending on if they were downloaded from the Windows Store or elsewhere. Zoom is not currently included in the Windows Store, so if you have this setting turned on, you will need to allow Zoom to install. Zoom recommends that you deleted the current drivers before you install the new ones. Once 1.3 drivers are installed, attach your usb cable to the R24 and then put the R24 into the USB sync mode. Then launch X1 and then make sure you are using the ASIO driver mode. After this step, you should see the R24 input/outputs. Hi, I have a Zoom R24 on a Macbook Pro 2011 running on OS Yosemite (not Windows 10, I know, but the changes below may help). R24 is recognized by Jamkazam but latency was not good. After many tries, I found the following: 1. Sampling rate at 44.1 actually gives you poorer latency, counter intuitive to Jamkazam's instruction. U-24/U-44 Driver for Windows version 1.1.0 has been released to correct the following issue: Even if the U-24/U-44 connected to a PC is turned off, the driver indication on the control panel does not appear and the U-24/U-44 is not recognized on the PC. Has anybody had success with using a Zoom R16 or R24 as an interface w/ MixCraft 7 PS? The Zoom R24 & R16 are multi-track recorders AND also DAW interface. The Zoom references show tips for setting up several other DAWs (Cubase, Logic, Sonar, etc.), but they don't mention MixCraft. Pro Tools 9 will not work w/ Zoom, because PT9 does not support 'Mackie Control' mode, and Zoom uses ONLY Mackie Control mode.Zoom R24 Driver Windows 10 64 Bit
So I thought it would be fine with MC, because MC seems to support Mackie Control. But NO! MC 7.7 PS (build 301) crashes and burns every time it tries to initiialize the R24. I've downloaded/installed all the latest firmware and drivers and there's no joy. I've tried CoreAudio (Wave RT) and ASIO, with the same result.

MixCraft 7 PS looks like a nice DAW, with several key improvements from the MC5 I was using before. Had great hopes to get this all working.
